The backgammon board consists of 24 triangles divided to four groups of six - 2 of them are the home board and outer board of one player, and the other 2 are the home board and outer board of the second player. Each player has 15 checkers of his own color.
Backgammon PointsThe points are numbered for each one of the players starting in the player's home board. The outermost point is the 24 point, which is also the opponent's 1 point.
Backgammon Checkers ArrangementThe checkers arrangement is made on the player's 24, 13, 8 and 6 points: two on each player's 24 point, five on each player's 13 point, three on each player's 8 point and five on each player's 6 point.
